How to pass the standard for physical training?
Every year thousands and thousands of young men and women enter military schools.
A prerequisite for admission is passing physical fitness standards. Show in full…
The standards are simple. You need to run three kilometers in 11 minutes 30 seconds, do at least 16 pull-ups and run 100 meters in 13.5 seconds.
All these standards are slightly lower than the third sports category in each of the selected sports: stayer running, gymnastics and sprint running.
A young person can reach this level in about a year if he starts working out in a sports section three times a week for an hour and a half.
Which sports section should I go to: the stayer running, sprinting or artistic gymnastics section?
There is an opinion that you can prepare for passing the standards in the yard on horizontal bars and uneven bars or at the stadium.
This is true and some people can do it.
I myself entered the university without any tutors. I used textbooks and problem books to prepare myself for exams in physics, mathematics and literature.
Well, not quite myself - I graduated from physics and mathematics school.
Former athletes also easily change their qualifications. A runner can easily figure out how to prepare for pull-ups. It's like a polyglot learning an eighth language.
It is difficult to pass physical fitness standards from a sedentary lifestyle without successful training in sports. Especially if there are three of them.
It's like learning three subjects at school from scratch.
The essence of all sports is simple: it is the development of strength, endurance and technique.
Each sport has its own strength, its own endurance and its own technique.
Developing pull-up strength and running strength are different types of strength and each requires a different amount of time.
Running technique and pull-up technique are different types of technique and require separate knowledge and skills.
Learning running and pull-up techniques from videos and pictures is like learning sex from porn and the Kama Sutra. It could end badly.
So, in order to successfully pass physical training standards in three sports, you need to develop three properties: strength, endurance and technique. Multiply three by three and we get nine qualities of the body.
All these qualities need to be developed in the proper volume and intensity of training - rehearsals.
Assessing the level of strength, endurance and technique in three sports and establishing the proper volume and intensity of training requires extensive coaching experience.
Or not needed. You decide. There are exams in July, and the link to sign up for a consultation on the preparation program for passing the standards is here
