IFBB PRO League in Russia. What to expect!? + all information in one link

Just recently, the NPC/IFBB PRO League announced its first tournament in Russia since the division of the IFBB a year ago. The tournament will take place in November 2022. So far, I am pleased with all the information that has been announced about the tournament, except perhaps the fact that the wait is long. We have yet to see the tournament, but we want to say that we have great respect for each of the IFBB leagues. It doesn’t matter which letters in the abbreviation of the federation are FBI or NPC. IFBB Elite PRO or IFBB PRO LEAGUE are all secondary. The main thing in all this is bodybuilding. A beautiful and well organized sport.

Peter Molnar generally represents a federation whose abbreviation few people know. That does not prevent him from being one of the most popular athletes in Europe. Of course, it will be very interesting to follow the development of these two federations in Russia. And we hope that they will find a format for friendly cooperation. In addition, the President of the FBI, Alexander Vishnevsky, is an IFBB PRO athlete, but the sports functionary is an IFBB Elite PRO. We would like to see cooperation between these two organizations much more than a race of disqualifications.

❗NPC / IFBB PRO LEAGUE. You need to know this ❗

The organization has only ONE President. There are no other presidents by country. There may be representatives of the president, but they are actually independent promoters (Spain, Italy, Australia, as an example).

In the structure of the NPC / IFBB PRO LEAGUE, the main characters are PROMOTERS, often they can also act as the Chief Judges of the competition: Robin Chang, James Lorimer, Tim Gardner, Tony Doherty, Steve Weinberger, Bob Cicherillo and others. Some of the promoters directly in the USA are responsible for certain regions. Also from among these promoters are people who are involved in the development of NPCs in regions of the world. For example, everything related to Latin America lies with Tamer El Guindy.

Competitions are not held by federations, but by PROMOTERS, who enter into an agreement with NPC / IFBB PRO LEAGUE, which stipulates all the conditions. The judges are represented by the League, which, within the framework of the agreement, is responsible for holding the tournament according to the rules.

Any athletes can compete as amateurs, regardless of their federation.

Upon receiving PRO status, the athlete enters into an agreement and undertakes to follow the instructions of the League and compete only in the IFBB PRO LEAGUE.

Amateur athletes apply for participation INDEPENDENTLY; no organization/federation is needed for this. Submitting an application electronically and paying the fee too.

All amateur competitions are in the NPC Calendar and there is a separate section on the website / IFBB PRO LEAGUE.

There were/are 25 amateur tournaments held/planned in Europe (or very close by) this year. Of these, approximately a quarter were held in conjunction with PRO tournaments and PRO qualifications for the Olympia (Figure, Men Physique, Bikini - points awarded).

In Europe in 2022, the IFBB PRO LEAGUE held tournaments in almost all league categories (on the question of whether or not to go to America), including three shows in the OPEN BB category: BIGMAN WEEKEND PRO BENIDORIM, EVL'S PRAGUE PRO MEN'S BODYBUILDING , WOS ROMANIA MUSCLE FEST PRO MEN'S BODYBUILDING (November 23 – 24).
