Can CrossFit training help female athletes lose weight? Intense functional exercises can really help you build your dream body, strength and endurance. Today we will analyze the basic principles and features of this system, basic exercises for fat burning, and also prepare several types of CrossFit training programs for girls: both beginners and experienced athletes who want to lose weight.

Background

It’s worth dotting all the i’s right away: I have never been a sports person.
Therefore, for me this story is a way of overcoming. As a child, I did figure skating and pop dancing, and at a more conscious age I periodically went to fitness, but the desire to train quickly disappeared. I lacked the perseverance to practice regularly. A fast metabolism saved me from excess weight, thanks to which I did not deny myself sweets. But over time, the understanding came that the body needs stress in order for it to be resilient, healthy and strong. CrossFit is a high-intensity workout that develops strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and coordination. The exercises improve agility, increase power and speed, and give a person the opportunity to work on balance and accuracy.

Laziness and a psychological barrier prevented me from starting to study. The thought that pumped-up guys and girls in the gym would laugh at my awkward and incorrect exercises made me put off buying a membership. The book helped me take decisive action. I never believed that a story written by someone could practically influence my own life, but it happened. I read the work of neuroscientist Wendy Suzuki “The Strange Girl Who Fell in Love with the Brain” and went to buy a subscription. First I went to the gym, and then I decided to try CrossFit.

What do I like about CrossFit, besides the physical part? There are many advantages

I began to think less about sad things, suffer less, fall in love with all sorts of assholes. CrossFit helps you move forward and not think about past and present misfortunes. And this is important for those who are emo at heart. This sport will greatly help girls solve their personal problems, and men will be drawn to you.

In general, athletic girls attract men. Namely, those who do crossfit. In ordinary clothes, and not in uniform, such athletes look beyond all praise and are simply perfect. And many men want to have such a life partner.

Hall selection

I only had a rough idea of ​​what they do at CrossFit. Friends said that it was interesting, but difficult. My father trained for some time, in six months he lost noticeably weight and became more fit. Well, I thought, this is exactly what I need.

It didn’t take long to choose a mentor. I found two coaches on social networks, compared prices and conditions and settled on a club in the Solnechny microdistrict. Classes are taught there by Andrei and Anastasia Sukharev. I’ll be honest, when I first saw their photos, I was scared. It seemed to me that the trainers pumped up all the muscles of the body to the maximum; I perceived them as people from another world, where entry was closed to me. It's good that I have a partner. He encouraged me and convinced me that the classes weren’t scary at all.
