Arina is a fitness presenter, writer, author of postpartum recovery programs, author of personal weight loss techniques, trainer and sports nutritionist. In addition, the athlete is a young mother. The girl takes any task and achieving her goal very seriously, she always goes to the end. Biography of Arina Skoromnaya: how she came to fitness, what parameters she has at the moment, what exercises she does and how she eats.

Biography of Arina Skoromnaya

Arina Skoromnaya, aka Varskaya, the girl’s maiden name, was born in Moscow. She grew up in a family where her parents had serious professions (psychologist and head of an audit company). Since childhood, dad and mom instilled in Arina the understanding that she needs to study and achieve everything through her own work. Therefore, the athlete has two higher educations. It is impossible to say that in childhood, adolescence and student years the bikinist was distinguished by her love of sports. Yes, she did rhythmic gymnastics, snowboarded and bicycled. However, hobbies quickly changed one after another, and there were no definite results anywhere. In addition, Arina had a tendency to be overweight. Dietary habits from childhood migrated to the university period.

The turning point occurred when Varskaya met her future husband Andrei Skoromny. The pumped-up guy immediately made an impression on Arina. At that time, Andrei was already a master of sports in bodybuilding and a fairly well-known personality in sports circles. At first, the couple positioned their relationship as friendly, but then... Looking closely at each other, they realized the real feeling.

With Andrey's easy encouragement, Arina fell in love with the gym. And she began to study under the guidance of Skoromny. The bikinist's weight loss story still has a motivating effect on many girls. Arina managed to lose 12 kg in six months, change her imperfect figure, making it harmonious and athletic. The fat is gone and muscle is in its place. Skoromnaya stands out in the world of fitness for its naturalness. She did not build up anything, did not go under the knife and did not take special supplements or doping.

Arina Skoromnaya does not participate in bikini fitness; she believes that the main competitions should not take place on stage, but within herself. Therefore, the girl never sought to win titles, titles and cups. Her life already has enough busyness in an interesting and favorite activity. She has achieved great success in her professional activities as a trainer, presenter, nutritionist, writer, author of a method for postpartum recovery, and an anti-cellulite program. Arina also developed a unique FIT FOR YOU program and is a co-founder of a service for preparing and delivering healthy food. The training videos that Skoromnaya filmed as part of the “Body Time” project helped many girls change their body parameters.

However, despite such an active and eventful life, Skoromnaya manages to train and look great.

Arina Skoromnaya: “The path to a beautiful figure needs to start from the head”

Arina Skoromnaya is a well-known girl in healthy lifestyle circles. The fitness trainer places special emphasis on the fact that she is a fitness mother, who was one of the first to write a book about restoring health and figure after childbirth. She herself put herself in order twice: when she first became interested in sports and after the birth of her daughter. Now Arina actively blogs, develops her YouTube channel, helps others get fit during fitness marathons, and gives individual consultations.

Books about the most important things

Skoromnaya’s first book “Beautiful and Healthy Mom. Pregnancy and recovery after childbirth” was a success, and therefore ZOZH-motivator decided to release the next one. Or rather, present two books at once: “Start right now! Healthy approach to the body" and "Fitness recipes from Arina Skoromnaya." She told us why it is worth paying attention to her work:

“After the book about recovery after childbirth, I decided to write a book for a wider public, for people who want to be beautiful and healthy. This book is more intended for beginners and those who work with them. At the end of the publication there is a scientific basis for the points that I write about, because I work together with nutrigenetics and nutritionist, Dr. Zolotarev. The book has sections on psychology, nutrition, and training. Fitness recipes are specially designed for those who need complete, balanced nutrition. They are absolutely simple, nothing complicated. I myself don’t like complexity, there are no lobsters and foie gras there, but only simple, affordable products.”

Since the book is called “Start Right Now!”, we asked Arina to share the very first step with which the path to beauty and a slim figure begins:

“You need to start with psychology, with the head. What prevents a person from doing anything is his head, his blocks, lack of motivation. The first thing you need to understand is whether this is his motivation, whether this is his goal. Maybe your loved ones tell you about this or society rewards you with its stereotypes. For example, a husband tells his wife that he doesn’t like her figure and she seems to be thinking about losing weight, but in fact she is comfortable in her body. Therefore, the figure is a choice. And society should not attack a person if his choice is to be who he is.”

Monetization of knowledge

Arina started her blog back in 2012 and, as she claims, did not set the goal of further earnings, but “simply did her job and shared.” Gradually, a whole community of people formed around the charismatic trainer, whom she helped put themselves in order. As the girl herself says, “transformed without harming her figure.” At the moment, the number of people who have become healthier using Skoromna’s method exceeds 16,000 people.

Then, gradually, the girl began to give individual consultations on training and nutrition, then launched several online marathons, and after giving birth, she wrote her first book. Arina was invited to host the Friday TV channel, she became the ambassador of several sports brands: Reebok , Optimum Nutrition , and even produces anti-cellulite cosmetics under her own name. All these aspects of activity turned into a successful healthy lifestyle business. However, not everything is so rosy there:

“Selling books is a huge investment. Yes, it may be monetized after some time, but not a fact. And you won’t guess whether you have hit the point and niche that is in demand today or not. I also noticed that summer is a period of decline. No one cares a little about their figure, everyone wants to go to the sea and eat delicious junk on vacation, so online marathons are not successful at this time. But there will always be individual consultations; if you are an expert and specialist, people will always turn to you and there will be demand.”

Arina also admitted that years of work on herself and constant self-education are often erased by dishonest competitors who simply steal online marathon programs and pass them off as their own:

“In every stream of online marathons I have such cunning people. They come as ordinary participants, download the program and then resell it on the Internet. At the same time, some also manage to write that my method did not help them and return the money for participation. But what can you do? You can’t catch everyone’s hand, although I periodically come across my own recommendations coming from the mouths of other people.”

Arina Skoromnaya does not recommend seeking help from people who have simply lost weight and are talking about their own experience. Yes, this is a great motivation, but for serious work on health, a scientific approach and the education of your mentor are important. Otherwise, you risk not only your beauty, but also your health.

Both books “Start Now! A healthy approach to the body" and "Fitness recipes from Arina Skoromnaia" have already gone on sale online on Arina's official website (skoromnaia.com); you can purchase the books here .

Popularity

The impetus for the development of popularity was the launch of the “Telu Time” project on the YouTube channel. Arina organized it together with her husband, where the couple talked in detail about exercises and a healthy lifestyle.

After the birth of her daughter Sofia, Arina’s microblog “Diary of Women’s Happiness” gained incredible popularity thanks to the mass of useful information that the young mother happily shared with her subscribers.

Recently, Skoromnaya took part in the development of the online weight loss program “FitForYou” and released her own anti-cellulite cream Fatbuster.

In 2016, a book about training after the birth of a child was published. At the same time, Arina receives an offer to work on Channel One in the Good Morning program, and as the author of a column in the Iron World magazine.

Arina Skoromnaya’s latest achievement was the “Friday Morning” program, where the girl hosts fitness columns.

Arina Skoromnaya: “I went to the gym on the tenth day after giving birth”

Woman.ru: Arina, you started your path to slimness and fitness two years ago. What then made you, an already pretty girl, start to change?

Arina Skoromnaya: Love forced me. On vacation in Africa, I met my future husband, bodybuilder Andrei Skoromny. Before meeting him, I had a preconceived idea about “jocks.” But he completely changed my attitude towards bodybuilders, showing his education, determination and responsiveness. At first we were just friends and looked closely at each other, his iron will and focus on results inspired me and helped me look at training differently. When I returned home, I started going to the gym every day.

Woman.ru: Did you want to lose weight?

A.S.: I weighed 72 kilograms with a height of 172 centimeters and, of course, was not happy with my shape. But even this was not the impetus for the changes, but precisely the desire to come to the philosophy of a healthy lifestyle. And this is not a rejection of “classic” bad habits - I never smoked and did not like alcohol, it is more about discipline, adrenaline and determination that sports give.

Woman.ru: How did your weight change?

A.S.: I had a feminine figure, wide hips and a flat stomach, but everything was flabby and required a lot of work. In six months I managed to lose 12 kilograms and completely change my body, lose fat and gain muscle mass.

Woman.ru: What was your attitude towards sports before?

A.S.: I did different sports, even breakdancing, but I didn’t bring anything to completion. Regular training began after meeting Andrey. At first they were unsystematic, like many beginners, then he began to train me, and the first results appeared.

Woman.ru: What advice do you give to those who are not motivated by their other half? How to love training?

A.S.: The feeling of progress helps a lot. If you honestly go towards your goal and follow a diet and training regimen, it is inevitable.

As soon as you start to progress, take photos as often as possible. If you compare your “before” and “after” every month, you won’t have a question about why you should go to the gym. This is very inspiring!

Woman.ru: What was the hardest thing on the way to a beautiful body?

A.S.: It was very difficult for me to change my diet, give up my favorite “harmful foods”, I even had nervous breakdowns.

Now, having been eating healthy for several years, I don’t even want to eat what I used to. Those products do not increase vitality in any way and do not contribute to either active training or good health.

Woman.ru: What is your diet now?

A.S.: Of course, I eat little by little often (5-6 times a day). I start the day with complex carbohydrates - porridge with water and sometimes milk. You can add a teaspoon of honey or dried fruits to it. Before lunch I snack on fruit. 2nd and 3rd meals - fish or meat with vegetables. 4th and 5th - salads, eggs. At night, if I really want to eat, I can afford a salad of herbs and vegetables. I don't drink coffee, I prefer tea.

Woman.ru: What about fashionable low-fat dairy products?

A.S.: I almost don’t eat dairy products. Athletes who are cutting avoid them because they retain water. There is not so much protein in them that they are indispensable in the diet; instead, it is better to eat meat, fish and eggs.

Woman.ru: What do you recommend doing when you want to eat unhealthy foods?

A.S.: Eat (laughs). But let this be an exception.

Even professional athletes sometimes have a cheat meal, where you eat whatever you want one day a week.

This will not affect your progress in any way if you do everything according to the rules and within reason: arrange a “load” once a week and monitor the portion size.

Woman.ru: It’s time to mention that this is not your first transformation. Just recently you became a mother and amazed your subscribers by showing off your flat stomach just a month after giving birth. Tell us how training during pregnancy affected your well-being.

A.S.: I gave birth almost 2 months ago, and now, more than ever, it is clear to me that training during pregnancy was necessary and I did everything right. Firstly, it helped me a lot during the birth itself! Secondly, of course, recovery is much faster and easier than for girls who spent their entire pregnancy on the couch.

Woman.ru: You became a mother for the first time. How do you feel in your new role?

A.S.: I’m just getting used to it, but I can say for sure that numerous stories about not having time to take a shower remain myths for me. So far, the baby is unpretentious: she only eats and sleeps, so I have time to care not only for her, but also for my husband, get myself in order, find time for household chores and, most importantly, sleep. So at the moment everything is great and I am a happy mother.

Woman.ru: You didn’t give up training even when you were pregnant. Do you have enough time for them now? Are you gradually returning to your usual routine?

A.S.: Before pregnancy, I did an hour of cardio and about an hour of strength training every day. During pregnancy, I did not lift weights and did a set of exercises with a fitball to reduce the load on my back.

Just 4 days after giving birth, I started working out my abs, and 10 days later I went to the gym. Now I'm returning to my previous loads.

Woman.ru: Wow! How did you manage to get into shape so quickly after giving birth?

A.S.: Fitness during pregnancy contributed to good health, so while I was still pregnant, I made a special video lesson for mothers. Well, then I simply had no time to become limp: I alone cope with the child, the household and still have time to take care of myself. It is important that young mothers do not forget to take care of themselves.

Woman.ru: But how to manage everything? It's good if there is someone to help.

A.S.: No one helps me take care of the child, I do everything completely myself. I don’t think that the husband is obliged to do this; I prefer that everything be voluntary.

It is important to accustom your child to a routine and feed him by the hour, then your nerves will be intact and you will have time for yourself and your family. I feed the baby every three hours, and she is already used to it and does not cause me much concern.

Woman.ru: What do you advise our readers to quickly, like you, get in shape after giving birth?

A.S.: You shouldn’t strive to repeat someone’s success; there are no identical people with the same body and organism. Don't be upset if the process doesn't go as quickly as you would like. The main thing is to purposefully go towards your plans, and the result will be! For me, the ideal period for recovery was one and a half to two months, for some it was longer. There is no need to chase other people's records. The main competition in life is with yourself.
