Turaeva Anna. Photos before and after in youth, in a swimsuit, personal life

Anna Turaeva is a Russian athlete, absolute champion of the World, Russia and Europe in powerlifting, who has made discipline, honesty and love of peace the main principles of her life. Strikingly different in her photographs taken in her youth and the heyday of her career, before and after taking steroids, looking more like a stocky, pumped-up man, the girl often faces condemnation and criticism, but is completely happy with herself and her appearance, not wanting to change for the sake of negative tuned public.

Brief biography and personal life

Anna Turaeva was born in August 1978 in Tuapse into a simple working-class family. The father of the future athlete worked for many years as a turner at a factory and periodically worked part-time by welding “iron” for visiting athletes.

Since childhood, Anna was a very sick child, constantly fainting, as doctors believed from epilepsy. The mother of the future athlete constantly took her to doctors, but they just shrugged their shoulders, predicting a maximum of 5-6 years of life for the child.

At the age of 8, Anna fainted on a crowded bus and at the same time, during one of the examinations, she was diagnosed with a birth-related displacement of the cervical vertebrae. The subsequent operation, during which the girl’s vertebrae were artificially fractured, led to pain and oxygen deprivation.

Tired of illness, the girl suddenly became inspired by films with Arnold Schwarzenegger and, secretly from her parents, began visiting the gym, located right in the basement of her parents’ house. Anna's friends gradually got her used to training, and since 1997, the girl gradually mastered sambo, taekwondo and bodybuilding, initially training in a lightweight program.

Anna Turaeva posts photos before and after (in her youth, until she was 16, the girl looked completely normal) of the changes on Instagram, where it is clear that she used to wear skirts, dresses and even had long hair, but when faced with her first unrequited love, she dramatically changed her image, switching to short hair and sporty clothing.

Anna, who became a bodybuilder in 2006, received a serious back injury during training, remained bedridden for 3 months and for some time could only exercise while lying down. Thus, the athlete was forced to turn into a powerlifter, lifting weights exclusively with her noses without the participation of her back.

In 2007, a girl who happened to be in Novosibirsk at an all-Russian competition, weighing 60 kg, was able to lift 110 kg, becoming the champion of the championship, and a month later her bench press was already 150 kg.

After competitions in Russia and Europe, Anna became the champion of the American continent, setting her personal and world record in Nevada.

Having won several championships, Turaeva decided to leave the sport, devoting herself to coaching, but returned to the arena several times both as an athlete and as an organizer of the Yamal Cup and Black Sea Cup competitions.

In 2017, in Blagoveshchensk, Anna tried to set a new world record, but this time she was unable to due to weight loss and a decrease in the number of approaches to the apparatus. In parallel with professional sports, Turaeva supervises coaching work, and among her wards, Svetlana Kivorkova, who has repeatedly become a prize-winner of world championships, stands out especially.

Considered the strongest woman on the planet, Anna greatly changed her natural appearance through physical exercise, turning from an ordinary woman into a small, stocky man. Until 2017, the athlete repeatedly said that she dreams of marriage and having children, but then she changed her orientation.

On the Internet, Turaeva met the owner of the beauty salon, Victoria. The girls first struck up a friendly relationship, during which Anna even helped her friend lose weight, and then they began to live together. The athlete’s parents supported her decision, and in 2018 Anna and Victoria opened their own business to transform the appearance and figure of Russian women.

Appearance

Anna Turaeva, the absolute European champion in powerlifting, looks completely atypical for a woman, and with her low weight of 80 kg, she easily lifts a 150-kg barbell.

Turaeva Anna posts before and after photos (in her youth she looked completely different, preferring long hair, flowy dresses and heels) on the Internet, and from them it is clear that as soon as a gentle and fragile girl faced unrequited love, she dramatically changed her image .

In order to cope with disappointment, Turaeva plunged headlong into weightlifting, and at the same time changed her image, choosing a short haircut and sportswear.

Over time, first bodybuilding, and then powerlifting, which is considered a traditionally male sport, as well as taking steroids, turned the feminine Anna into a real, strongly built man with voluminous shoulders, pumped up biceps, strong legs and a thin waist.

The image is completed by the athlete’s ultra-short, almost bald skull and an abundance of tattoos that make her look like the famous Dwayne Johnson.

In her interviews, Anna notes that when people meet her, they are initially lost, but after talking, they begin to see in front of them a real woman, which Turaeva feels like. Anna notes that she is not going to prove anything to anyone, and her style and image are how she is most comfortable and comfortable, despite the fact that inside she is not a man at all, but a real woman.

What should cardio workouts be like?

Cardio on machines

If your body mass index is higher than normal, you should not run on a treadmill: this will put too much stress on your joints. Instead, choose a brisk uphill walk (you can adjust the incline on the treadmill), exercise bike, elliptical, stepper or airbike.

Perform cardio at a moderate intensity so that you can last without slowing down. The main thing is to increase your heart rate and keep it at this level for the right time.

If long, monotonous cardio makes you sad, try doing it with headphones. If this doesn't help, choose intense circuit training with your own weight. They are also suitable for those who cannot go to the gym five times a week.

Plastic

Turaeva Anna shows before and after photos (in her youth she had a frail physique) to her fans, and it is clear from them that she has achieved almost complete resemblance to a man thanks to intensive training and taking steroids, which completely changed her figure. Also in 2018, the athlete decided to have a local mastectomy, as a result of which she removed both of her mammary glands.

Photos of Anna before and after changing her appearance.

Anna openly spoke about the operation she underwent in a short video published on her microblog, noting that the question of her mammary glands was constantly worrying both journalists and fans.

Since 2007, having met her “true love” - the barbell, Turaeva began bandaging her chest, which got in the way during training. A similar procedure was carried out on an ongoing basis, and in 2015, as a result of a routine medical examination, the athlete was found to have enlarged lymph nodes with small compactions in the armpit, reaching 2.4 mm in diameter.

Anna underwent a full examination, which revealed the development of a benign tumor in her left breast due to constant compression of the milk ducts.

Experts came to the conclusion that the athlete should undergo a mastectomy of her left breast to prevent the transformation of a benign tumor into a malignant one.

A year later, Turaeva began to suffer from severe pain, and she decided to have surgery. Along with the left mammary gland, the athlete also obtained permission to amputate the right one, rightly deciding that since she still looks like a man, leaving one mammary gland was simply inappropriate.

In addition, there was a high probability that a tumor would appear in the preserved mammary gland, so Anna decided to be proactive and save herself from the risk of cancer.

The athlete’s strong body easily endured the operation, and 2 months after the procedure, Anna returned to normal training. Turaeva decided to cover up her mastectomy scars with tattoos, so beloved by her idol Dwayne Johnson.

"Beauty is within a person"

Anna Turaeva firmly believes that the real beauty of a person is in his soul. Distinguished by her original appearance and often faced with condemnation, the athlete believes that a woman needs to love her body the way it is and be proud of it.

Anna herself considers herself a completely non-offensive person, but when faced with condemnation, she simply crosses the person out of her life. The athlete also notes that she was lucky to meet people on her way who pay attention primarily to the inner world and leave her the right to change at her own request.

Tattoos

Anna Turaeva, as can be seen in the photo, has several tattoos on her body, created from individual elements, including stingrays, monitor lizards, faces, sharks and the sun. The athlete got her first tattoo when she was very young – at the age of 13.

A friend of hers bought the machine herself and easily tested it on everyone, and gave Anna a bracelet on her hand.

Then Turaeva liked Polynesia, which means “a warrior who brings victory.” It was this meaning that all her subsequent tattoos acquired, where each detail has its own, separate story.

Each time, after a new symbol appeared on Anna’s body, changes took place in her life, and the more signs appeared, the more clearly Turaeva understood exactly who she wanted to become. So, every time a problem arose in her life, Anna created a new tattoo and the problem spontaneously disappeared.

Scandal at the airport

In 2020, an unpleasant incident occurred with the athlete at the St. Petersburg airport when control officers doubted Anna’s gender indicated in her passport. According to Turaeva, passport control workers almost got into her panties, pestered her with questions of an intimate nature and were interested in how she behaved in bed.

Upon arrival in Moscow, history repeated itself, only now, according to Turaeva, aggression was added to the unpleasant questions, which made the athlete feel almost like a criminal. The airline, whose employees behaved inappropriately, apologized to the athlete with a personal message and a comment on her Instagram post, but Anna herself refrained from commenting.

Such an incident, according to Turaeva, was not the first time. In an interview with the portal, Anna notes that she has encountered such behavior in government agencies and in bars, but if in the latter, men, as a rule, pay attention to her, and when they find out that she is a woman, they simply pat her on the shoulder and leave, then employees of government agencies consider it necessary show disrespect.

Talking about her situation, Anna noted that such incidents are completely unacceptable abroad, where, seeing the name “Anna” in the column, civil servants behave completely calmly. Talking about the not always adequate attitude towards her from those around her, the athlete also noted that she was not going to change at all, since she was happy with her face and body.

Desire to become a mother

In 2020, the athlete shared on her Instagram her conscious and firm desire to become a mother. Anna wrote frankly about her feelings, noting that due to the physiological changes that have occurred in her body, prolonged heavy loads and threatening oncology, she will not be able to get pregnant and carry a child on her own.

However, the athlete has preserved her maternal instinct and in the near future she plans to resort to surrogacy or take in an orphan from an orphanage.

Previously, Anna was confident that over time she would have a partner with whom she could share parental concerns, but after the betrayal of a loved one, she realized that she would have to raise the child on her own.

The athlete believes that the laws of the Russian Federation will most likely not allow her to adopt a child, so the only option available to her is to use the services of a surrogate mother. In addition, the athlete has her own eggs, which may enable her to raise her own biological baby.

The athlete gives herself 2 years to fulfill her dream, which sends a pleasant shiver through Anna’s entire body.
