Alexander Muromsky

The famous Russian athlete Alexander Muromsky, who created the extreme strength show “Russian Heroes”, is included in the Guinness Book of Records 11 times. The interesting thing is that he decided to set the first record for the sake of his children, to set an example for them. He admitted that he once bought a book for his sons and, while reading it together, noticed an interesting achievement: in 29 minutes, the American managed to bend 6 meters of reinforcement and put it in a suitcase. Since then, he began bending metal rods at speed, tearing apart telephone directories of 1000 pages and twisting straws from frying pans.

Childhood

The future actor Vladimir Turchinsky was born on September 29, 1963. His place of birth is the city of Moscow. The boy was very strong and weighed more than 5 kilograms. It would seem that fate itself is preparing him to become an athlete.

Vladimir Turchinsky in childhood

There were no people of art, athletes or creative personalities in the young man’s family. My father's name was Evgeniy. He was a hereditary career military man. The grandfather of the future showman also gave most of his life to the army. He held the rank of major general and headed one of the military schools.

Mother's name was Nina Nikolaevna Turchinskaya. She held a prominent position in the meat processing industry. The woman's grandmother was a fashion designer. Perhaps she was the only one of all who was engaged in creative work.

The young man’s parents divorced almost immediately after Turchinsky’s birth. Soon the mother met another man who became her husband and replaced young Vladimir’s father. His name was Vyacheslav Silaev.

He, like the ex-husband of the young man’s mother, was a career military man. He had the rank of colonel and served in the Main Directorate of Border Troops of the KGB. During his years he took part in hostilities.

Vladimir Turchinsky in his youth

His merits were confirmed by many orders, medals and awards. Turchinsky's stepfather was fond of sports and loved weightlifting and boxing.

The boy perceived Silaev as his own father. Family relations were warm.

The desire to play sports came to Turchinsky very early. At that time he was in primary school. At first, the young man’s choice fell on sambo, freestyle wrestling.

The boy managed to prove himself in the field of physical achievements already in the 5th grade. He took part in the Moscow championship, where he took second place. And just over 2 years later he became the first in sambo competitions.

V. Turchinsky in his school years

Throughout his school period, Vladimir Turchinsky was actively involved in sports and grew up as a professional wrestler. Long before receiving his certificate, he passed the required minimum and became a master of sports in judo and master of sports in freestyle wrestling.

The achievements were noticeable to the naked eye. It seemed that the young man would follow the path of an athlete and make martial arts his profession. However, he decided differently. Vladimir Turchinsky wanted to get a serious specialty.

In the early 80s, the young man entered the Moscow Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. Over the course of 3 courses, he regularly received his specialty as a programmer. However, at some point he suddenly changed his mind. That same year, Vladimir Turchinsky joined the army. During his period of service he was assigned to the Signal Corps.

Vladimir Turchinsky in his youth

After demobilization, the young man returned to Moscow. However, he did not want to resume his studies. Instead, Turchinsky applied for a transfer to the Institute of Physical Education. Finally, he understood what he wanted.

Despite all the difficulties, he managed to transfer to another university. Over the next years, Vladimir Turchinsky studied and acquired a new profession. And upon graduation, after receiving his diploma, he became a coach, which played a big role in his future fate.

Over the following years, young Turchinsky continued to search for himself. He got his first job at school. Became a teacher. As soon as difficult times began, I had to actively change professions.

During the perestroika years, Turchinsky managed to work as a bodyguard, photographer, security guard, and English translator. At that time, it was difficult for him to find himself. The reason was not a lack of talent, but a radical change in the country's structure. Very soon the problems were solved.

Sport

By the end of the 80s, at the end of perestroika, Vladimir Turchinsky became seriously interested in American football. Classes became possible only after the liberalization of the state policy, however, it was this sport, exotic for the country, that became the impetus for the further development of the man.

Turchinsky joined the Moscow Bears team. In 1991, athletes competed in the only American football competition in the country.

Young Vladimir Turchinsky

Soon the Soviet Union ceased to exist. Wanting to continue his sports career, Turchinsky moved to the United States of America.

For a short period of time, he played for the Moscow Giants team and achieved quite serious success. He was even awarded the title of honorary citizen of Marlborough. This title was given to almost all team members.

The basis was a great contribution to the development of friendly relations between the United States of America and the country that emerged from the ruins of the Soviet Union.

Very soon Turchinsky returned to Russia. At that time, the country became completely different, but the athlete managed to find a place for himself. He became interested in weightlifting. With inherent responsibility, he approached the matter as seriously as possible.

Very little time passed, and Vladimir set several records. Got into the Guinness book. The achievements were impressive: he managed to move a passenger plane and lift a car with people. There were several other records. As a result, Vladimir Turchinsky was recognized as one of the most powerful people in Russia.

Soon the man became a regular participant in the international strength sports competition “World’s Strongest Man”. Traditionally, dozens of heroes from all over the world came here to measure their muscles.

Creative activity

In addition to sports, Turchinsky had other hobbies, which later developed into a profession.

In the mid-90s, the athlete took part in the Gladiator Fights. The program was created by foreign producers. In the program, participants from all over the world competed in strength, agility and other physical abilities.

The format was new for Russian television. Mostly, the program featured athletes who had already worked in similar programs in their home countries. Despite the fact that this did not happen in Russia, the creators still invited participants from the former USSR.

Athletes from England, Finland, the United States of America and more appeared on the program. In addition to Turchinsky, there were other Russian athletes here.

In 1999, Vladimir’s career as a TV presenter began. He first appeared on the “Star Start” program. The program was produced in the format of children's and youth sports competitions and was generally aimed at young people.

Turchinsky’s work impressed the creators so much that he was invited to host the show on an ongoing basis.

From that moment on, interest in Vladimir only began to grow. Very soon he was invited to several more projects. For example, during the same period he hosted the program “Mom, Dad, Me - a Sports Family.”

A few years later, Turchinsky was invited to the role of host in the program “Fear Factor”. It aired on the NTV channel. The first episodes turned out to be very popular, they decided to extend the program.

For two seasons it did not lose ratings; it was filmed in Argentina. The charismatic presenter himself, Vladimir Turchinsky, played an important role in the development of interest in the program. During the course of the show, the participants had to pass three extreme tests. As a result, by the end there were much fewer people left who converged in the final.

During these same years, Vladimir Turchinsky worked as the host of the “The Strongest Man” program on the “Sport” TV channel.

In 2007, the showman took part in the filming of the program “Laughter without Rules.” Turchinsky’s partner and co-host on the humorous program was Pavel Volya, one of the Comedy Club residents. It’s interesting that after Vladimir’s death the program was closed.

Around the same years, Turchinsky led the “Slaughter League”. It also aired on TNT; the most popular and powerful participants in “Laughter Without Rules” were invited to the program.

Turchinsky is also known as a radio host. In 2004, he worked at the Silver Rain station, where he participated in the program about jazz and blues music, “The Last of the Mohicans.”

There was also a place in the presenter’s career for children’s programs. So, in 2006, he worked on the STS TV channel and starred in the educational program “Sesame Street”

Investigation into the reasons that led to the death of Turchinsky

The official version of the cause of death of the bodybuilder was myocardial infarction. According to the pathologist, the detached blood clot blocked the coronary artery, blocking the flow of blood to the heart.

It became known that shortly before his death, the actor underwent a “rejuvenation” procedure called plasmapheresis. The purification procedure involves filtering the liquid part of the blood through a special sieve with fine fractions, which cannot be overcome by molecules contaminated with toxic substances. Despite the fact that this procedure is very popular and does not pose a risk to life, one of the bodybuilder’s friends said that doctors made a mistake during its implementation by not taking a special blood test from Turchinsky. In addition, it became known that the athlete’s family filed a lawsuit against Sergei Terebov, the same doctor, with the aim of depriving him of the right to conduct activities.

Terebov himself denied the possibility of making a mistake, hinting at Vladimir’s poor health. According to him, the cause of death could have been the heavy load on the bodybuilder’s body and the medications he was taking. 40 days after Turchinsky's tragic death, the investigation into the cause of death was closed and charges were dropped.

Fans of the showman have put forward many versions of what exactly brought the bodybuilder to a heart attack. One of them is taking hormonal drugs. According to information received from the attending physician, shortly before his death, Vladimir again began visiting the fitness club and injecting hormones. Soon he began to complain about feeling unwell due to a change in the drug. Despite the plausibility of this version, no life-threatening doses of the drug were found during the autopsy.

Most likely, the showman’s lifestyle itself contributed to the heart attack: exhausting training, diets, a busy work schedule, a love of alcohol and cigars.

Turchinsky wrote in his book that in his youth he often trained “to the point of exhaustion” and only much later realized that he could achieve better results without compromising his health.

Cinema

As an actor, Vladimir Turchinsky made his debut relatively late. The man got his first experience on a film set in 2001, when he starred in the film “Dynamite.” However, it remained unfinished.

During the same period, Turchinsky starred in two more films: “FM and the Guys”, as well as the multi-part project “Cobra”, where he received a cameo role.

In 2002 and 2003, Vladimir Evgenievich starred mainly in the images of military men and security officials. Among the most striking works with the participation of Turchinsky are the projects “Special Forces”, “Russian Special Forces”, “Cobra. Anti-terror."

In 2004, the man appeared in the multi-part series “Beware, Zadov.” In a humorous series with the participation of Dmitry Nagiyev, Vladimir received the role of a battalion commander. This was the first comedy project where Turchinsky appeared.

Already in 2005, the artist tried on the role in the sitcom “Lyuba, Children and the Factory”, which also became a kind of debut, a new experience in his creative biography.

2006 was marked by the release of the multi-part film “Storm Gates,” in which Turchinsky also starred.

During the same period, the famous showman took part in the series “Happy Together”, where he played himself (cameo).

The artist’s creative biography included several more sitcoms and comedy projects. For example, “Everything is so sudden,” which aired in 2007 on the STS channel. Or “Soldiers. New call", "Matchmakers".

This also includes the domestic remake of the popular American series of the mid-last century “My Wife Bewitched Me,” which in the adaptation was called “My Favorite Witch.”

And in 2009, Turchinsky appeared in an episode of the sitcom “Daddy’s Daughters.”

Over the years of creative activity, Vladimir has starred in more than 3 dozen films, television projects, and TV series. The artist’s last work was called “The Sky is on Fire.” She saw the light after the actor’s death.

Filming

A spectacular and popular image - a mountain of muscles combined with a kind heart - was just right for Turchinsky. And childhood and youth in a military family allowed me to get used to the role as realistically as possible. More than 30 films of this type have been shot with his participation. The most striking roles were in “Special Forces” and “Storm Gates”.

The beginning of the 2000s brought Turchinsky a new television role. This is a recording of the Cobra episodes. It is interesting that initially they were supposed to participate only in episodic scenes. But his spectacular appearance and athletic figure did not go unnoticed, and Turchinsky’s hero becomes one of the main ones.

After this series, Vladimir began vying with each other to be invited to appear in films. At the same time, Turchinsky’s brutality did not become an obstacle to the career of a comedian. His roles in the TV series “Daddy’s Daughter”, “Happy Together”, “Matchmaker” are filled with sparkling humor.

Personal life

Over the years, the artist was married 3 times.

The man's first wife's name was Irina Alexandrovna. She was a professional arm wrestler and did athletics and shot put. In 1986, the couple had a son, Ilya Vladimirovich Turchinsky.

He followed in the footsteps of his mother and father. He took up sports, and then studied at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, received a diploma. Currently engaged in servicing security systems.

Episodes of life

Irina Turchinskaya, Vladimir’s wife, admitted that at first it was difficult for her to put up with Dynamite’s impulsive character. Once, Irina said, she completely ran away from home, but Turchinsky stopped the regular bus in which she was traveling to bring his wife home. Turchinsky himself said that at home he is henpecked, because he believes that next to his wife, alone, he does not need to assert himself in anything. He constantly spoiled his wife and daughter and even collected bouquets for Irina with his own hands. One day the newspapers wrote that the Queen of England was so fascinated by the sight of Dynamite wrapped in a towel that she invited him to tea. Turchinsky was outraged by this fiction, but it turned out that this story was almost true. The Queen actually invited the athletes to have tea on the lawn in front of the Academy of Classical English Gardening. Turchinsky later boasted that he saw the Queen of England before Boris Yeltsin. According to Turchinsky’s mother, Vladimir did not abuse his power even as a child. She recalled that even when someone touched him in the yard, Turchinsky simply stepped aside. “Why don’t you fight back?” the mother once said indignantly. “But it will hurt him,” Vladimir replied. Mom was surprised: “Aren’t you in pain?” To which Vladimir replied: “I’m so big and fat.”

Death of an actor

Literally on the eve of the tragedy, the man continued to work as if nothing had happened, participated in the “Good Evening, Moscow!” program, and gave an interview to journalists from the REN-TV channel. As it turned out later, it was the last in his life.

On December 16, Vladimir felt unwell. As soon as he got out of bed, he fell and lost consciousness. At that time, the showman was in a village in the Noginsk region.

Local emergency doctors did not want to go to the address, suggesting that we contact Moscow specialists. The paramedic from the capital took several hours to get to the place. Valuable time was lost.

Indications

Plasmapheresis serves as an addition to the main treatment for certain diseases of the cardiovascular and endocrine systems, diseases of the digestive tract and urinary tract, pathologies of the respiratory system and skin, toxic liver damage and allergies, and drug overdose. According to transfusiologists from a multidisciplinary medical center, it is excellent for treating alcohol and drug intoxication, relieving toxicosis during pregnancy, as well as in the presence of placental insufficiency. Plasmapheresis is widely used in psychiatric clinics, when a person’s emotional state requires an increase in the dosage of drugs, and his body cannot cope with their processing - then blood purification helps to continue treatment. An absolute contraindication for plasmapheresis is peptic ulcer with open bleeding and hemophilia, severe liver damage and iron deficiency anemia, edema syndrome and thrombophlebitis. According to cardiologist Oleg Ostakhnovich, the plasmapheresis procedure itself is safe, and if complications arise after it, it is only because the specialists performing it negligently approached the operation without conducting all the necessary tests and without familiarizing themselves with the patient’s outpatient record.
