Mixed martial arts is reaching a whole new level. If a couple of years ago the parties were offered to resolve any conflict with the help of rap battles, now the showdown is increasingly being transferred to the ring or the octagon. And when media personalities also participate in such fights, interest in such events is sometimes higher than in professional fights. One of these events will be the confrontation between mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko and multiple champion, winner of the Russian Cup in weightlifting Mikhail Koklyaev. Of course, many experts give preference in advance to the brawler Emelianenko Jr., but the intrigue will remain until the end of the fight. Some experts are confident that the victory will be won by a weightlifter, whose every blow can be decisive.
How can a bodybuilder develop a devastating boxing punch?
Do you know, our dear readers, that, for example, in a classic one-on-one street fight, some idiot can be much stronger than you? You, a pumped-up bodybuilder, covered from head to toe with sculpted muscles? - sounds unreal! But in fact, this is quite a real situation. And now I will explain to you why...
Well, of course, the word “trash” here doesn’t mean just a studied nerd with glasses and a bunch of books under his arm. We are talking about a boxer - they are all as thin as slivers...
So, the topic of the article: bodybuilder versus boxer - who will win? Whose blow will be stronger and more effective? Boxing or pitching? And why does a bodybuilder have less chance of winning this unequal fight?
The thing is that by pumping iron day after day, we certainly gain strength. But this power is not the same! The fact is that a boxer must have explosive power - the ability to deliver a blow with maximum lethality sharply and with lightning speed. And he trains day after day to develop such strength skills and abilities. We, bodybuilders, train our muscles to be fluid every day. Smooth lifts, smooth pulls, smooth presses - all this is due to working with large and sometimes sub-maximum weights. The safety precautions themselves do not allow us to make sudden movements, because we can easily get injured. It turns out that the bodybuilder is slowly but systematically killing the boxer in himself, weaning his muscles from sharpness, speed and lightning speed.
Another important point is cardio training. Most weightlifters lift weights day after day, completely ignoring aerobic training. At least 80% of all bodybuilders are guilty of this. Well, there’s no need to talk about powerlifters - they are fixated on their three basic exercises, and they don’t see anything else in the area except them...
What's the end result? As a result, you have impressive muscles, a beautiful body and excellent relief, but a very weak heart for your body, an unprepared circulatory and respiratory system...
But boxers, on the contrary, devote a lot of time every day to cardio training - this is a primary task for them. They have been improving their cardio endurance for years: they run a lot, jump rope, and again, cardio equipment is their best friend.
As a result, if a typical bodybuilder clashes with a boxer, even if the jock has significantly greater physical strength, his breathing capacity compared to his opponent will be “not to hell.” And, after just a couple of minutes of the fight, the jock will fall to the floor with heavy shortness of breath. And the boxer will only have to finish him off, maybe even with his feet...
So, the problem has been identified, but what to do? How to eliminate this annoying omission, and be able to repel the puny offender? It’s a shame that someone with such and such muscles can somehow be defeated... There is a way out!
Here are a number of recipes that you urgently need to adopt in order to develop at least some initial boxing skills and an impressive, strong blow:
- In addition to core training, focus on explosive strength at least occasionally. For example, once a week you throw huge, heavy weights off your bar and bench press a light barbell, but quickly, sharply, explosively. Naturally, before this task, you need to thoroughly warm up and stretch the target muscles, and do the first approach without any weight at all...
- Never ignore aerobic training! Before each workout, do a cardio introduction, read more about it here. Do aerobic specialization once a week - do only cardio work on this day - no strength training.
- In your free time from the gym, practice jogging, cycling, swimming in the pool, skiing in winter, etc., etc.
- Be sure to hit the bag at least sometimes. If you don’t have it, you need to buy it urgently, unless, of course, you want to be beaten by some “frail asshole.” It also wouldn’t be a bad idea to buy decent gloves - for example, there are many decent ones here: sport-volgograd.ru. A well-placed devastating boxing punch takes years to train - so don’t be fooled after two or three training sessions. Constancy and regularity are needed. Get yourself into the habit of hitting a punching bag or, alternatively, a makiwara at least once a week for half an hour, and you’ll be good.
- Well, and absolutely aerobatics - if you have the opportunity to work with a sparring partner. Because no educational training can replace a real contact fight with adrenaline, passion, good sports anger and a thirst for victory...
By following these simple rules, you will not only look beautiful on the beach with your pumped up biceps, but you will also be able to thoroughly “smash into the scoreboard” the boorish rednecks who are now seemingly and invisibly divorced. And not just smack him, but smack him in such a way that no amount of rhinoplasty will help. For those who do not know, we provide information: rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery to surgically correct the shape of the nose.
And finally, remember: a real man is not the one with biceps, but the one who is able to stand up for himself and for his beloved woman, which is what we, in fact, wish for you!

Emelianenko promised to “tear” Koklyaev in the ring like a shirt
In recent months, MMA fans have already seen several high-profile fights: fighters, bloggers, judges, and amateurs took part in them. Unlike elite sports, in this case the athletes do not have high goals and the result does not dominate them. However, such fights often turn out to be very bright and memorable - they collect a huge number of views on social networks and attract more and more audiences.
But the meeting between Emelianenko and Koklyaev will stand apart. Never before have such media personalities entered the ring, taking into account the fact that one of them does not belong to the world of martial arts at all. Alexander Emelianenko is a famous fighter with an impressive background. True, he is known not only for his sporting achievements, but also for regularly getting into scandalous situations. The athlete served several years in prison for rape and still often turns out to be the hero of crime reports.

“Imagine if they now give me a violin and say: “Play like Paganini,” the first Russian UFC champion Oleg Taktarov told Izvestia. - The situation is the same here.
Despite the fact that for many Emelianenko is the favorite of the upcoming fight, some experts believe that Koklyaev also has a chance to emerge victorious from the fight.

Emelianenko compared Koklyaev to a big bag
“Alexander is a professional fighter, has experience and good technique, and also works well in the stand,” Eldar Kenkerli, the Russian champion in army hand-to-hand combat, master of sports in boxing, and former coach of Sergei Kharitonov, shared with Izvestia. - Of course, on paper Emelianenko is the favorite in the upcoming fight, and his opponent really has little chance of success. However, this is a heavy weight, and here any blow can be decisive. In any case, I am sure that this fight will be interesting and will bring a lot of pleasure to the audience and MMA fans.
Bodybuilder Alexander Piskun knocked out journalist Nikita Burchak in the first round. Video
On November 27, the Fight Nights 106 tournament ended in Syktyvkar, where in the main fight of the evening, Alexander Emelianenko lost to Brazilian Marcio Santos by choke hold at the end of the first round. In addition to this fight, there were many other spectacular fights on the card. One of these was the meeting between Nikita Burchak and Alexander Piskun.
Alexander Emelianenko, go to pop MMA. Professional heavyweights will cripple you
Their fight is notable for the fact that oversized heavyweights with a serious difference in height and weight are fighting - Burchak’s height is 190 cm, weight 120 kg, and Piskun’s height is 179 cm and weight 93 kg. In addition, the lighter Alexander is not a specialized fighter, since he works as a fitness trainer and has awards only in bodybuilding. And Nikita is a candidate for master of sports in Thai boxing, but now he works as a sports journalist at Sports.ru. Thus, we got a fight suitable for pop MMA.
The video is available on the FIGHT NIGHTS GLOBAL TV channel on Youtube. The rights to the video belong to FIGHT NIGHTS GLOBAL TV.
The fight began with Nikita immediately starting to chase his opponent around the Octagon. Although Burchak could not get into a fitness trainer. And all because Piskun began to run away, but at the same time brushed off blows. With one of these blows, Alexander knocked Nikita down, and just after starting the finishing move, referee Pavel Sekretaryov stopped the fight, which ended 22 seconds after it began. The defeated fighter did not understand the referee’s decision at all. He was not the only one who was puzzled by such a quick stop.

Below are the most current and popular comments under the video. Punctuation and spelling of the authors have been preserved.
“The judge is wrong!(I understand that the health of the fighters is important!!! But the judge is not competent!(”.
“Maybe I’ll try it too, against some plumber or a bus driver.”
“The fitness trainer himself was afraid of the blow))).”
“As a referee with extensive experience, I can say that the stop was early...” wrote the head coach of the Sverdlovsk region MMA team Georgy Tamoev.
Here's how Nikita himself commented on the defeat:
“It hit me, I got a little lost and collapsed. I was already ready to go to the feet, you can see it in the video. And for some reason the judge came running and decided to end everything.”
Perhaps if this was a fight between two professional fighters, the referee probably would have stopped it later. This was compounded by the fact that this is a heavyweight fight, where everything is decided by one blow. Therefore, it turned out to be such a roulette until the first heavy hit, from which the bodybuilder emerged victorious.
