About Jillian Michaels - Kickbox FastFix
Kickboxing is a combat sport that has become the basis of many fitness programs. Jillian Michaels created an aerobic course that uses elements of this sport. Don't be scared, the program is gentle enough that even beginners can do it. The training is not replete with jumping exercises; the cardio load is achieved through elements of kickboxing: swinging arms and legs. For classes, you traditionally need a gymnastics mat and dumbbells from 1 kg.
The course consists of three workouts, lasting 20-25 minutes, including a cool-down and warm-up. This is Jillian's shortest class yet! However, the effectiveness of Kickbox FastFix is achieved due to a high heart rate that lasts throughout the entire workout. Cardio is a must in your fitness plan if you are overweight. It is impossible to burn fat with static exercises alone. Kickboxing is also great for those who are not yet ready to do more advanced cardio workouts.
In the first lesson of the Kickbox FastFix course you train your upper body (arms, chest, shoulders), in the second you will do exercises for the buttocks and legs, and in the third - the abs. However, strength exercises are used more as additions, diluting the main aerobic part of the program. You can train daily, alternating between workouts.
