Yana Kuznetsova
Currently she holds the record for the number of prizes. Her collection contains a decent amount of them. She managed to do this in a very short period of time. She is the only such athlete.
Last year alone she won 3 tournaments. So far no one is able to get ahead of her.
Motivation - fitness bikini: before and after
It is the bikini body type that is considered the most “appetizing”, and in our today’s selection we will show you how some of the most famous Russian stars of the Women’s Bikini-Fitness division started.
Diana Volkova: before and after
From an ordinary girl to a masterpiece body. In 2015, Diana Volkova became the overall champion of the Arnold Classic Europe Madrid. The winning gold medal was presented to the girl by the organizer of the tournament - Arnold Schwarzenegger
. The path to the titles was not easy for Diana, as she herself says - “I don’t understand how I had enough perseverance and patience.” But, in fact, the girl had strong support, because she was trained by her own husband (also a competing athlete), and the victorious Iveta Statsenko taught posing. We wish the beauty further success!
Olga Blokhina: before and after
Muscovite, art critic and television journalist by training, champion of the Arnold Classic Amateur 2014. In 2013, Olya signed a contract with the food company Glanbia, which owns the monster brand of the sports nutrition industry - BSN
and
Optimum Nutrition
. Olga Blokhina is a certified trainer (graduated from Ben Weider College), in 2014 she opened the Queenclub fitness school and launched her own line of women’s sportswear “No carbs” (English carbs - carbohydrates). A beautiful and purposeful girl who has changed almost beyond recognition.
Elizaveta Mukminova: before and after
In the “before” photo, Lisa is 21 years old. In the “after” photo, the fitness expert poses in a swimsuit that her mother sewed for her. Elizaveta Mukminova began training in the gym in the winter of 2012 and already in the third season of 2014 she became the absolute champion of the Russian Cup. This is what Elizabeth writes on her Instagram ( @mukminova_ifbb
) “Motivation must be within you! Don't look for it on the side! This is not a sport where you have an opponent with whom you run side by side, trying to overtake. This is a sport of competition with yourself, where every day you need to be better than yesterday!
The girl is beautiful, especially worth noting are her carved shoulders and natural beauty.
Alena Yarovan: before and after
Who would have thought that this fragile girl in the photo on the left would become a master of sports in powerlifting in the future? Nevertheless, it is true. A native of Ulyanovsk, Alena Yarovan graduated with honors from the Ben Weider College of Fitness and Bodybuilding, became a prize-winner of many Russian and international competitions (in the Fitness Bikini category), an FBI judge and a fitness trainer. At the Eastern European Bodybuilding Cup 2022 (Samson 42), Alena took an honorable third place.
Ekaterina Krasavina: before and after
Well-known fitness bikini, participant and winner of many competitions: 1st place Arnold Classic Europe 2015, 1st place Olympia Spain 2015, bronze medalist Olympia Prague 2015, champion of the Eastern European Bodybuilding Cup 2015 (Samson 38), vice-champion of the Russian Cup 2016. Murmansk, bronze medalist at Arnold Classic USA Columbus 2016. Now Ekaterina Krasavina is a Myprotein brand ambassador.
The fitness athlete once had a completely ordinary appearance, and then radically changed her life. But Catherine evolved not only with the help of the gym: breast and nose plastic surgery, veneers, and Botox significantly changed her appearance. On social networks, Katya was even accused of saying that gorgeous buttocks are also the work of a surgeon. In response, Krasavina performed an ultrasound of the buttocks, with which she wiped the noses of all critics - the study did not show the presence of foreign bodies in the gluteal muscles.
Svetlana Eregina: before and after
Absolute winner of Arnold Classic Europe, two-time absolute champion of Russia, IFBB Bikini Pro, trainer and fitness model. Svetlana Eregina stages her performances herself and helps other competing bikini athletes with this. “There are many peaks, and I haven’t conquered them all yet, which means I have room to grow, room to strive. And I will not turn away from this path, because this is my path and I am confident in my choice,” says Svetlana.
Do I have bikini details? The most important question
All the girls above, of course, had different initial data before starting classes in the gym.
And they've all achieved some success as competitive bikinis and fitness models. We want to say that nothing is impossible for a person with a goal. The most striking example of transformation from our selection is, perhaps, Ekaterina Krasavina. Judging by the few photos that can be found on the Internet, Krasavina belongs to the endomorphic-mesomorphic body type, that is, she is prone to being overweight. Nevertheless, she succeeded. Every girl can become the best version of herself. Meanwhile, if you really want to enter the competitive stage and win, then you must either be very purposeful or initially have good data. Ideally, both.
What is “good data”? These are, first of all, the proportions of the body: the body should not be long and the legs should not be short. Next, it is advisable to be born an ectomorph. Otherwise, you will face an eternal struggle with your genetics, nervous breakdowns and menstrual irregularities, if you still manage to reach the competitive 15% body fat. And since it is not natural for your body to maintain such a low percentage of fat, it will strive with all its might to reach its natural norm, say, 25%.
So, most often girls with the following parameters achieve heights in fitness bikinis:
- Long legs (height is not important, only proportions matter).
- Medium-width pelvis, thin waist (both front and side).
- X-shaped figure silhouette.
- A pretty face (no aquiline noses, pronounced brow ridges or overly thin lips).
- Naturally low fat percentage (this is important, first of all, for your health).
But, again, a strong desire works wonders. For example, the Russian champion is not at all distinguished by her feet from her ears, just like Alessandra Ambrossio, the famous Victoria's Secret model. Indeed, “complexes are the engine of progress.”
John Romano: insider's opinion
John Romano is a fitness industry insider, author of several books on bodybuilding, and host on numerous radio talk shows.
He is also featured in the popular documentary Bigger Stronger Faster. Romano lives in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he owns and operates Gold's Gym. So here's what John has to say about the fitness bikini competition.
Fitness competitions are expensive! Everyone wants to win, get sponsorship contracts and present themselves to new clients as “a trainer - a fitness bikini champion.” But only a few achieve success; for everyone else, competitions are just a waste of time, effort and money. See for yourself. Your preparation costs: personal training, posing training, a healthy diet and expensive sports nutrition
. If you think that you can train on your own and learn posing from a video, then you are already a loser: after all, you will have to compete with girls who have an unlimited budget. Often prizes go to the wards of famous coaches who sit in the judge's chairs. Yes, it's not fair, but that's the truth.
It will be impossible to win if you don't stand out in any way.
. In the fitness bikini category there can be 5 height categories and 40 participants in each. It is incredibly difficult to stand out from such a crowd: not every lady with an athletic figure will look decent on stage. But it is the bright appearance and presentation that can give the participant additional points, which will be decisive. If you are unremarkable in any way - genetics, face and spectacular image (hair, makeup, posing - here again the question of finances arises) - then they simply will not notice you. Again, all famous coaches select students with excellent initial potential. Because it is these girls who have the best chance of making a “name” for themselves and maintaining the authority of the coach.
Every year there are more and more young ladies on stage who come to “try”. There is no crowd behind the scenes, and the audience gets tired of the endless parade of identical (albeit pumped up) “bodies”. But this only plays into the hands of the organizers: the more participants, the greater the fees. But as a rule, about 20% of potential contestants could be “turned down” for inappropriate form even before going on stage. But they don’t do this, just so as not to lose profit.
Decide for yourself what is better - to go on stage “just stand” for your own money, or to watch the competition from the audience, saving your money and your own dignity? Have pity on the audience. You know, even the best-organized show subjectively lasts forever. Sitting and watching forty participants in one category replace each other is not easy. At the same time, there are no more than ten of them who are really well prepared. The rest came for a few seconds under the spotlights. Only their relatives and friends are waiting for the performances of such bikinists. Most of the spectators will be tormented by yawning while waiting for the strongest
.
If you sweated in the gym for a long time, went on a diet and lost 20 kg, reward yourself for your efforts with a photo session with a good photographer. Remember, fans don't buy a Formula 1 ticket to watch someone finally pass their driver's license. Likewise, at fitness competitions, spectators want to see participants in excellent shape. They are absolutely not interested in who will take fifth place from the bottom.
Ekaterina Usmanova
Despite the fact that Katya has not competed for a long time, remembering the fitness bikini category, one cannot help but mention one of the most popular and authoritative athletes in domestic bodybuilding. For more than ten years, Ekaterina has been among the top sports bloggers and fitness experts. Now the world champion in bench press and vice world champion in fitness bikini actively maintains her account @usmanovakate and enjoys motherhood.
