Viktor Mikheev offered him his coaching services. In tandem, they began to work for results: his results improved every day, and his weight grew. Already at 16, Sarychev competed in his first competitions. Despite his success in sports, the guy did not forget to study at the agricultural university.
First victories
At the age of 20, Kirill met Andrei Fedoseev. This is a truly fateful acquaintance, because Andrey was the organizer of the “Battle of Champions” tournament. But two months later the hall closed due to lack of funding. Sarychev, who by that time had become involved in the training process, found another training room, where he was noticed by his first coach, Viktor Mikheev. He instilled in the future record holder discipline and the will to win.
Kirill began participating in competitions at the age of 16, when his weight was only 75 kg.

Sarychev's advice to beginners
- Don't study on your own. The basics should be shown by a master, not a video on YouTube.
- Keep a sports diary. Record absolutely everything related to the training process in it, including photos and videos.
- For training, the best option is the classic scheme: 5 x 5 (five sets, five lifts). Take a weight that will allow you to take these same 5 x 5.
- The optimal initial training weight for those who want to lift 100 kg is 75 kg.
- Gradually add flyovers and bench presses (with dumbbells), and triceps on a block to the process.
- The number of classes can be arbitrary, but not less than three times a week.
- After each lesson, be sure to relieve tension from the delta by stretching and swinging.
- Sample plan:
- Monday. 75 kg 5 by 5.
- Wednesday. Press at an angle of 30°: 80 kg 8 times – 4 sets.
- Friday. Angle press: 80 kg 4 times – 4 sets.
Training and nutrition Sarychev Kirill
Kirill is in excellent athletic shape. To maintain physical performance, he continues to work out regularly in the gym. The training scheme was developed by Boris Sheiko. Details of the training plan are not disclosed. According to the athlete himself, the process is described “in drops and percentages.” The training complex, in addition to the squat and bench press, includes exercises common to heavyweights. The emphasis is on strengthening and developing the back muscles. Particular attention is paid to working the triceps, pectoral muscles and deltoids.
A strenuous sports regime with impressive physical activity corresponds to a nutritional regime. The Russian hero eats every two hours. It is quite clear that the main thing on the menu is protein and carbohydrates. In one of his posts on Instagram, Kirill said that he can eat 2-3 kilograms of meat in one sitting and have an impressive dessert.

Additional expert tips
Powerlifting is different from bodybuilding. Here, the alternation of periods of drying the body and gaining muscle mass occurs differently.
Metacycle of Kirill’s classes – 2.5 weeks. Only immediately before a competition does a powerlifter reduce the number of approaches and prepare for a maximum bench press.
The athlete accumulates strength and prepares the body for the heaviest weight in competitions.
