Other events during the festival
Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer have co-produced the tournament since 1989, when the competition debuted as a one-day bodybuilding competition known as the Arnold Classic. The Arnold Sports Festival has gradually grown into a four-day competition that features professional and amateur bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting and strongman.
