I first saw William Bonac in 2011 at the Arnold Classic Amateur in Columbus, Ohio, competing in the 100kg division. He finished third behind Russian prodigy Alexey Lesukov and ultra-aesthetic Czech Tomas Bures (both currently IFBB Pros).

Shortly after, William earned a pro card at an event in Holland and then made his mark in the 212 division, finishing sixth at the 2012 English Grand Prix and fourth at the Prague Pro later that year.

Biography of William Bonac

William Bonac's birthplace is an African country called Ghana. Soon after birth, his seed, due to the difficult economic situation in the country, emigrates to Europe, namely the Netherlands. Like all children in the Netherlands, William was fond of football as a child. However, at a young age, his eyes fell on bodybuilding and since then it has become his calling.

Possessing excellent genetics, William Bonac, at the age of 26, is already competing at European level tournaments. She took 4th place at the Universe 2008 tournament of the IBFA federation. In 2009, he returned to this tournament and won gold, taking 1st place. Since he had nowhere to grow further in this federation, he sets himself the goal of becoming an IFBB professional. For many years, Brandon Kerry's training has been entirely supervised by Neil Hill, who has created more than one star on the stage. Neil, nicknamed Yoda, is a specialist in training and nutrition.

Brandon’s preferences are quite ordinary; he is a fan of the three “pillars” of bodybuilding and strength sports - barbell squats, bench press and deadlift. Prefers classic schemes with progressive load. Kerry trains 4 times a week, which allows her to effectively work out each muscle group. An athlete's main training days usually fall on:

  • Monday;
  • Tuesday;
  • Thursday;
  • Friday.

This schedule allows the bodybuilder to work each muscle group 2 times a week using splits.

Over Monday and Thursday, Brandon works the chest, back and shoulders. Moreover, on the first day the athlete prefers the strength option, while on the third workout he uses classic multi-repetition sets, pumping and other similar techniques.

One of the classic 4-week athlete cycles looks like this:

  1. Work in the mode of 5-7 sets of 4 repetitions;

Greg's first health problems began back in 2008: he was doing a standing press with a weight of 200 kg in a fitness center in Toronto and suddenly collapsed unconscious on the floor. After this incident, he was taken to the hospital, where he was on life support for some time.

Friends, how long do you think it takes to turn from an insecure teenager into Mr. Olympia? It took the Dutch bodybuilder William Bonac two long decades to achieve this. Here's his story. Biography

William was born on May 18, 1982 in Ghana. But the athlete considers his homeland not the African continent, but the Netherlands, where his family emigrated when Bonac was still a child.

Like all boys, little William showed an interest in sports - he liked all types of competitions, but bodybuilding still won. The prerequisite for this choice was the young man’s genetic predisposition to gain muscle mass, which he did not fail to take advantage of.

Bonac started training in the gym at the age of 13, and at first it was just a way to relieve stress. The classes were not easy, and only at the age of 26 the athlete began to take part in major European competitions. After several victories, William realized that he had simply outgrown the level of the IBFA federation and it was time to move on. Seasons 2010-2011 he missed it, devoting this time to working on himself and preparing to participate in professional IFBB tournaments. The peak of the bodybuilder’s career came in 2022, when Bonac received bronze at the international Mr. Olympia competition.

William admits that his weakest point has always been his legs, so in each of his workouts he takes time to pump them up. Favorite exercises are squats and hack squats, aimed at developing the thigh muscles.

Many of the bodybuilder's significant achievements are the result of well-developed arm muscles. William's fans call his biceps the best in the world. Indeed, the muscles of Bonac's shoulder girdle are capable of much. The athlete does amazing crunches, dips, presses and deadlifts that are the envy of his bodybuilding opponents.

Nutritional Features

Bonac prefers to buy groceries himself. For shopping, he goes to the local market, where he can always find the freshest eggs and meat, and also save half the price compared to the supermarket.

Biography of Flex Wheeler

Kenneth "Flex" Wheeler was born on August 23, 1965 in Fresno, sunny California. Little Ken's parents divorced, leaving their son in the care of his grandmother. The man is grateful to her to this day, because it was she who protected him from threats to his life. The city of Fresno was famous for gang violence, gangs of young boys flooded the streets, so it is not surprising that Ken went to the martial arts section. Having achieved significant success in this sport, Wheeler began to call himself “Flex”, which means “flexible” (however, in Russian there is another meaning “to strain”, “to pose”). In 1989, the question arose about choosing the future fate of a karateka or a bodybuilder, and Ken chose the latter. According to the athlete himself, for a long time he maintained a relationship with a karate coach, and after winning Mr. California, Ken had his last fight. The athlete retained self-defense skills throughout his life.

How long does diluted creatine last?

Failure did not discourage Reeves and he decided to compete at the most prestigious tournament - NABBA (English) Russian. "Mr. Universe" in London, at that time the Mr. Olympia competition did not yet exist. Young Reeves lost the title to the legendary John Grimek, who was already 38 years old and was already thinking about retiring from the sport. Wanting victory, Steve went to Cannes (France) and won the title of "Mr. World". In 1949, he again participated in the fight for the Mr. USA title, but lost to the same John Grimek and Clancy Ross.

On July 24, 1950, after good preparation, Steve Reeves won the Mr. Universe competition, defeating the future bodybuilding legend and idol of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Reg Park. After this victory, Steve decided to switch to cinema.
