The benefits of homemade apple cider vinegar come from making it from whole sweet apples. The industrial product contains residues such as peels and cores.

The American doctor D. Jarvis, who popularized the treatment with apple cider vinegar, developed a longer preparation recipe. The finished product is of high quality.

  1. Wash ripe or overripe apples of sweet varieties and remove damage.
  2. Grind with peel and core in a meat grinder or grate.
  3. Place in a glass or enamel container and add the same amount of warm boiled water.
  4. Add 100g of honey, 10g of bread yeast, 20g of dry black bread for each liter of mixture.
  5. Cover with a cloth, place in a dark, warm place for 10 days, stir three times a day with a wooden spatula.
  6. Strain into a glass container.
  7. For each liter of mixture, add 100 g of honey again and mix thoroughly.
  8. Cover with several layers of gauze and place in a dark, warm place until fermentation is complete and the liquid becomes clear (40-60 days).
  9. Strain, pour into glass bottles, seal tightly.

Store in a cool place (refrigerator).

  1. Wash and cut sweet apples.
  2. Leave in the light to darken.
  3. Squeeze out the juice, place in a glass container, and put a rubber glove on your throat.
  4. Place in a dark, warm place to ferment for 1-6 weeks.
  5. When the glove is completely inflated, pour the liquid along with the resulting foam (“vinegar mother”) into a bowl with a wide neck for better contact with air, leaving 7-9 cm to the edge.
